These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wide Web Artisans website and the professional services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
"Wide Web Artisans", "we", "us", "our" refers to Wide Web Artisans Limited, a company registered in Ireland.
"Client", "you", "your" refers to any individual or business entity that accesses our website or engages our services.
"Services" refers to web design, web development, SEO, AEO, content writing, and any other digital services provided by Wide Web Artisans.
"Project" refers to a specific body of work agreed in a written proposal or statement of work.
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
A service engagement begins when: (a) you accept a written proposal or quotation from us in writing or by email, and (b) the agreed deposit payment has been received. No work will commence prior to receipt of deposit.
Each project is governed by the specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price set out in the proposal. Any changes to agreed scope must be requested in writing and may result in revised pricing and timeline.
Project-based work (Web Design / Development)
50% deposit due before work commences. Remaining 50% due upon project completion, before website goes live. Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue.
Retainer services (SEO / AEO / Growth)
Invoiced monthly in advance. Payment due within 7 days. Failure to pay within 14 days may result in suspension of service with no liability to us for any resulting losses.
VAT
All prices are exclusive of Irish VAT at the applicable rate (currently 23%). VAT will be added to all invoices as required by Irish law. EU B2B clients may apply reverse charge VAT.
We reserve the right to charge statutory interest on late payments under the European Communities (Late Payment in Commercial Transactions) Regulations 2012 (S.I. No. 580 of 2012).
Project work: Cancellation after project commencement will result in forfeiture of the deposit. If work beyond the deposit value has been completed, additional fees may be invoiced for work done to date.
Retainer services: A minimum 3-month commitment applies to all retainer engagements. After the initial 3-month period, either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. Fees are not refundable for notice periods already billed.
Immediate termination: We reserve the right to terminate services immediately and without refund in cases of: non-payment beyond 30 days, breach of these Terms, or requests to undertake illegal or unethical activities.
Client content: You retain all intellectual property rights to content, branding, logos, and materials you provide to us.
Deliverables: Upon receipt of final payment in full, intellectual property in custom deliverables (design files, custom code) transfers to you. Until payment is received in full, all deliverables remain the property of Wide Web Artisans.
Third-party components: Some deliverables may incorporate third-party licensed components (fonts, stock imagery, plugins). Licences for these components remain with their original rights holders. We will disclose any such components in the project handover documentation.
Portfolio rights: We reserve the right to display completed work in our portfolio and case studies unless you specifically request otherwise in writing before project commencement.

Business hours are defined as Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm Irish Standard Time (IST/UTC+1), excluding Irish public holidays.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Irish law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.
Both parties agree to keep confidential all non-public information disclosed during the engagement. We will not share your business information, strategies, or data with any third party except as required to deliver services (e.g., hosting providers) or as required by law. This obligation survives termination of any service agreement.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice of the dispute.
If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation through a mutually agreed mediator in Ireland before resorting to litigation.
Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. We will notify active clients of material changes by email. Continued use of our services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
